Celebrity chef, Reza Mahammad, won himself more fans and endeared himself to many locals during his recent weekend in Prince Albert where he was hosted by African Relish.
Reza chatted to and charmed stallholders and shoppers at the Saturday morning market and later the same afternoon, joined rugby fans in shouting “Go Bokke!” at the Bush Pub during the televised second Tri-Nations test against the All Blacks.
He also amused Dr Reinders’ patients – and his farmyard animals – with his whoops of delight at the rich pickings he found in the doctor’s vegetable garden.
Reza promised to return to Prince Albert next year again to hold a workshop with African Relish, saying: “This is a special town with a wonderful atmosphere. I love the strong sense of community.”
